A Jig for 4 couples

Bars

1-8      1st & 4th couples turn right hands & cast

            one place into right hands across finishing

            on the diagonal, 1st & 2nd women facing,   

           likewise 1st & 2nd men, 4th & 3rd women,

           4th & 3rd men.

9-16   1st & 4th couples dance double “hello-goodbye”    

          setting finishing half way round.

17-20  Still on the diagonal, 1st woman & 3rd man, 1st  

          1st man & 3rd woman, 4th woman & 2nd man,

          4th man & 2nd woman half turn right hands

          3rd & 2nd couples joining hands in the centre

          to form a St Andrew’s Cross,  all set.

21-24 1st & 4th couples “chase” half way round clockwise

           while 2nd & 3rd couples dance left hands across  

           To sides. All are now back in original places.

25-32  1st couple giving right hands cross down below  2

           2nd couple, cast behind 3rd couple, cross giving  

           left hands & cast into 4th place own sides.

          Repeat with new leading couple.
